Pretty Reservoir, Dramatic Tors, interesting places, good riding, can be busy,
ice ream vans.
AVOID:
Busy B3212 main road.
TAKE CARE:
Lots of Tourists, especially children around
Burrator, Sheepstor busy with climbers and walkers.
ROUTES
C Circular Route mostly easy to follow
Points of interest:
The Reservoir, which has ice cream vans in
summer. Sheepstor has great views and is a very big rock.
Old railway track on northern half is pleasant and interesting.Yennadon Down is
good ground for a nice canter. Pub at Meavy Bridle paths through woods to east
of Reservoir.

Access is mostly via B3212 and there are
parking places on it but very “exposed”. Parking just south of the Dam probably
better but very busy in summer
